This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you
use the RPGLS mobile application (“App”). By installing or using the App, you agree to this Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who this applies to
The App is intended for registered healthcare professionals and authorised users. Use the App only in line with applicable laws and any terms we provide.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Account and sign-in
When you register or sign in (including OTP-based mobile login), we may collect:
Mobile number
Verification codes / OTPs (used only to authenticate you)
Access tokens, refresh tokens, and session-related data
2.2 Professional profile
We may collect and show profile information from our systems or that you provide, such as:
Name and professional title
Contact details (e.g. email, phone) where applicable
Profile photograph, if you upload one
Other professional or account fields in your HCP profile
2.3 What you submit in the App
Depending on features you use, we may collect:
Digital service requests and related form fields
Files you upload (e.g. images, documents, audio) for those services
Feedback you send
Interactions with content (e.g. likes, preferences) where the feature exists
2.4 Technical and usage data
Our servers may automatically receive, for example:
IP address
Device type, operating system, and App version
Approximate location from IP (if applicable)
Timestamps, screens or content viewed, and similar logs
We use this to run, secure, and improve the App.
2.5 Data stored on your device
The App stores tokens and basic account data on your device so you can stay signed in. Logging out removes that local data from the App; uninstalling removes the App and its local data. Server-side data is handled as in sections 7 and 8.
3. Health data and health-related information
3.1 Health-related data we may process
RPGLS is a healthcare-sector app. We may process:
Professional healthcare provider information tied to your account
Medical/pharmaceutical educational content you view or interact with (e.g. library items, slides, banners, product information)
Information you voluntarily enter in requests, uploads, or feedback that refers to clinical situations, treatments, products, adverse events, or similar medical context
Do not include unnecessary patient identifiers or sensitive health details unless you are allowed to and it is truly needed.
3.2 Device health apps
The App does not read or sync data from Google Health Connect, Apple Health, or similar sensor / fitness health systems (e.g. steps, heart rate, blood glucose) in the current version. If we add that later, we will update this Policy and obtain any required consent and permissions.
3.3 How we use this information
We use it to: authenticate you; provide education, product information, and services for professionals; process requests and uploads; personalise content where offered (e.g.recommendations); handle feedback; and meet legal and regulatory obligations that may apply to pharmaceutical companies (e.g. reporting where required).
4. Why we use your information (legal bases)
We rely on purposes such as: performing our contract with you (providing the App); legitimate interests (security, improvement, professional audience); compliance with law; and, where required, your consent (e.g. certain communications or optional features).
5. Sharing of information
We may share information with:
Service providers who host, operate, or support the App (under contracts requiring protection of data)
Advisers, auditors, or authorities when required
Law enforcement or regulators when we believe disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect rights, safety, or property
We do not sell your personal information to data brokers. If we are involved in a merger or sale of assets, information may be transferred with appropriate safeguards and notice where the law requires.
6. Permissions
The App may request permissions your device supports (for example camera or storage) so you can upload images or files or use related features. You can allow or deny these in system settings; some features may not work without them.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above:
While your account is active and you use the App
After you ask us to delete your account or data: we will delete or anonymise personal data within ninety (90) days after we verify your request, unless law or regulation requires a longer period (e.g. regulatory, tax, audit, pharmacovigilance, or legal claims), or until backups roll off on a reasonable schedule consistent with those rules
Information that is aggregated or de-identified so it does not identify you may be kept longer.
8. Your rights and how to request deletion
You may have rights under applicable law to access, correct, object, withdraw consent (where relevant), or request deletion, subject to exceptions.
To request deletion or exercise rights, email info@rpglifesciences.com with:

We will verify your identity where reasonable and respond within legal time limits.
Logout or uninstall clears data on the device only; it does not delete your account on our
servers—use the email process for that.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No system is
perfectly secure.
10. Children
The App is not for children. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Contact us if you believe a child has used the App with personal data.
11. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy and will post a new effective date. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Policy, except where the law requires separate consent for material changes.
